In Apartments, Columbus, Commercial, development, Ohio, real estate, Residential, Retail

Former K-Mart sight will be redeveloped by Taylor House LLC into a 325 unit apartment complex.

Taylor House LLC, an affiliate of Preferred Living based in Westerville bought the 11 acre site in Olentangy Square Shopping Center less than a month ago as part of a deal when they acquired the Wendy’s and Tim Horton’s along Bethel Road.

The apartment complex will be named Taylor House and consist of one and two bedroom units with gourmet kitchens totally 325 units, and will feature a 10,000 square foot community center with movie theater, billiards, game room and four story climbing wall.

Nice to see new a multifamily residential apartment complex going in this part of Columbus, where there hasn’t been much new for 25 – 30 years.  This should also drive some new triple net retail into Olentangy Square and the retail centers across on the north side of Bethel.
