New I-71 Interchange at Route 36/37 for $53mil

In Columbus, Commercial, development, investing, net lease, nnn

Once finalized, this second route 36/37 interchange may end up looking just like the interchange at Polaris Parkway and Gemini Place,

The proposal that ODOT likes puts this second interchange about 3/4 of a mile south of the existing interchange so right in Pat Shively and James Klingbeil’s proposed Northgate development.

And by the way, Pat Shively is making his third attempt at having the 225 acres of farmland he would to development, annexed into Sunbury.

The Northgate interchange plan was favored over the plan proposed By Bob Weiler and Nationwide Realty of the Northstar development to build the interchange north of route 36/37.

Either way, there’s a million or so square feet of office, triple net retail with auto mall, and residential development coming to the I-71 and route 36/37.  I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see this look like Polaris within ten to fifteen years.
