$450 Million Los Angeles Sunset Strip Mixed-Use Hotel Condo Project

Los Angeles commercial real estate developers AECOM Capital and Combined Properties Inc. have announced a mixed use hotel, condos and small music venue to be built on the site of the former House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood to open in 2010.

The project, named, Pendry West Hollywood, will have 149 guest rooms, 40 branded condos and a live music venue to replace the House of Blues. Given the many other similar developments on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, I think it will easily support a music venue location such as a replacement for the House of Blues.

The Pendry will join 1 Hotels’ conversion of an existing property and the new Marriot Edition plus the ultra modern concept on the site of the old Viper Room.
